When Is ‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ Coming To Streaming?

Final Destination Bloodlines — the latest film in the Final Destination horror film franchise — is new in theaters this weekend. How soon will the film be coming to streaming and where?

Rated R, Final Destination Bloodlines is the sixth film in the series that began in 2000. The logline for the movie reads, “Plagued by a recurring violent nightmare, a college student returns home to find the one person who can break the cycle and save her family from the horrific fate that inevitably awaits them.”

Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, the film stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger and the late Tony Todd.

Final Destination Bloodlines opens in theaters worldwide on Friday. Right now, the only place you can see Final Destination Bloodlines is in theaters, so check your local listings for showtimes.

The first stop for Final Destination Bloodlines in the home entertainment marketplace will be digital streaming via premium video on demand. Generally, Final Destination Bloodlines’ studio, Warner Bros., has about a one-month gap between the time its films open in theaters and their arrivals on PVOD, but there have been exceptions.

For example, the studio’s sci-fi comedy Mickey 17, which debuted in theaters on March 7, debuted on PVOD on April 8. In addition, Warner Bros.’ blockbuster hit Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opened on Sept. 6, 2024, and arrived on PVOD.

However, Warner Bros.’ latest blockbuster smash, A Minecraft Movie, debuted in theaters on April 4 and arrived on PVOD on May 13, just short of six weeks after its theatrical premiere.

If Final Destination Bloodlines follows the same pattern as the Warner Bros. titles above, then viewers can expect it to become available on PVOD sometime between June 17 and July 1, since new films on digital streaming generally come out on Tuesdays.

Which Streaming Service Will Get ‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ First?

Since Final Destination Bloodlines is a Warner Bros. release, the first place viewers will be able to see the film on streaming video on demand is Max. The Warner Bros. Discovery platform, however, will be rebranding itself sometime this summer to its original name, which was HBO Max.

Max currently offers an ad-based package for $9.99 per month, as well as an ad-free package for $16.99 per month. Max also has an ad-free package with programming in 4K Ultra HD that costs $20.99 per month.

Generally, Warner Bros. theatrical releases take about two and a half to three months to arrive on Max.

For example, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, which was released on Sept. 6, 2024, arrived on Max on Dec. 6, 2024, three months after it opened in theaters on Sept. 6.

Mickey 17, however, has a shorter window between its theatrical release and its Max debut. The film is set for a May 23 debut on the streamer, just over six weeks after its March 7 theatrical release.
