The bipartisan border deal is looking increasingly in peril as a growing number of GOP senators come out in opposition.

Meanwhile, the House is in for a busy day with a historic vote on impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and a vote on a standalone Israel aid bill that President Biden has threatened to veto.

Israel aid had been part of Biden’s supplemental funding request — along with border reforms, aid for Ukraine and other foreign policy priorities — but Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) over the weekend announced he would bring it up separately.
