You can find Parton’s latest dessert creations in the frozen food section: an Original Whipped Cheesecake, and a Decadent Chocolate Pie. The Original Whipped Cheesecake is made with cream cheese and buttermilk, and features a graham cracker crust that has been made with a touch of molasses. The Decadent Chocolate Pie is made with a flaky pastry crust, and showcases a fudgy chocolate filling that has been sprinkled with powdered sugar.
The best part? Both of these pies take absolutely no preparation to enjoy. They are fully finished pies that you simply have to thaw, slice, and serve. While they are likely great on their own, we think you could even get creative and drizzle a salted caramel sauce or blueberry compote on top of the cheesecake, or add a homemade whipped cream to the chocolate pie.
It’s still unclear which stores will sell these frozen desserts. However, Parton’s Duncan Hines baking mixes are available at a number of retailers including Walmart, ShopRite, Meijer, H-E-B, Publix, Jewel-Osco, and many more.
