I’ve been drawn to design and aesthetics since I was a little girl. Despite the cringe-worthy multicolored room I had in high school (which seemed cool back then), creating spaces has always been my thing. I was that friend who always had people over and made sure the ambiance was just right, with moody lighting and good music.
Choosing journalism as my path was a natural fit because I’ve always loved storytelling. Combining my passion for design and writing here at AT Media has been a dream. One of my greatest moments in this industry was meeting Chip and Joanna Gaines. Having watched their HGTV show religiously, meeting them in person exceeded all expectations. Their approach to home makeovers, preserving the original character and charm of the home, has been a huge inspiration to me.
My heart lies in interior design and creating a cozy, inviting home. Lately, I’ve poured my energy into upgrading my own space — whether it’s through new furniture, hanging wall art, or adding personal touches. And, of course, I’m documenting every step of the process so you can shop along with me!
