President-elect Trump’s administration has promised a fresh approach to internet bans, government spending, border security and immigration policies, warranting each topic a top spot on the Republican list of priorities for the 119th Congress. All four of these topics will likely be discussed on this week’s Sunday talk shows.

The incoming president recently urged the Supreme Court to delay a ruling to “save” TikTok from a ban slated ahead of his administration. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) has been critical of lawmakers’ divest-or-ban pressure on the China-based parent company in a crossfire argument of First Amendment freedoms.

The California representative will likely share his opinion on the swiftly impending case during an appearance on Fox News Sunday. Khanna may also hint at comments regarding Silicon Valley CEOs’ eruption of outrage as Trump floated H-1B visa discussions after appointing Sriram Krishnan to be a White House policy adviser on artificial intelligence.

The circumstances have propelled foreign affairs to the center of political discussion amid global conflicts including Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Incoming House Foreign Affairs Chairman Rep. Brian Mast (R-Fla.) has discouraged the continual flow of U.S. funds to the Eastern European nation and holds tight to homeland rule. The veteran will appear on Sunday Morning Futures and likely outline his committee’s direction for the new year.

Outgoing Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.) is set to appear on ABC’s “This Week” and may address his concerns with Georgia’s democratic institutions. He advocated for the U.S. to impose sanctions on former prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and condemned the leader alongside Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
