Fall is quickly approaching, which means all of your favorite local retailers are starting to drop all of their beloved fall foods and beverages for the season. Trader Joe’s always has a serious lineup of fall flavored foods to choose from, including the Spicy Pumpkin Samosas and the Pumpkin Brioche Twist. And, of course, a classic fall favorite treat that shoppers always love getting their hands on: apple cider donuts.

Now back for a limited time, apple cider donuts are available at Trader Joe’s. You can snag a box of six donuts for $4.49, which means each donut is only $0.75 each. These donuts are actually made by a family-owned bakery in Western Massachusetts, with donuts made with real apple cider. These cake donuts have a fluffy texture and are rolled in a generous amount of cinnamon and sugar straight from the fryer. Trader Joe’s recommends pairing these donuts with the Trader Joe’s Spiced Cider for the full fall experience right at home.

Shoppers are ecstatic about the return of these donuts, along with many other fall-flavored goodies on shelves, like the popular Maple Leaf Cookies. “Favorite time of year!” celebrates one shopper on @traderjoesobsessed latest Instagram post. “I’m here for it even though it’s hot out. Ready for fall!” Another writes, “I’ve been waiting for those donuts!”

Shoppers are also excited about the return of the pumpkin bagels, the pumpkin cream cheese, the salted maple ice cream, and, of course, the butternut squash mac and cheese. There’s a reason why that item went viral last year; it really does taste that good.

Not seeing a box of apple cider donuts at Trader Joe’s yet? It might be a little early to see it at your local grocer. But if you’re craving a batch and you’re counting down the days until fall officially starts, there’s nothing stopping you from making a homemade batch of apple cider doughnuts at home.
